Seerah Classes Resume Today!




Assalaamu 'Alaykum,

This is a reminder that we will be beginning the Seerah: Life of the Prophet- The Madinah Period class starting tomorrow, Friday September 17th. Arabicwill begin on Saturday September 18th. Again,

WHAT:
-Seerah: Life of the Prophet - The Madinah Period
-Arabic: Beginner and Advanced Levels

WHEN:
-Every Friday, starting tomorrow September 17th from 6:30-8:30pm For Seerah
-Every Saturday, starting September 18th from 10am-1pm for Arabic

WHERE:
Madrasa-tul-Ilm School Basement, 2846 Cold Spring Rd Indianapolis

WHY: To strengthen our hearts and souls with the knowledge of the best ofcreation, the Prophet Muhammad (saws), and to rejuvenate our spirits bybeing with our brothers and sisters.

A few points to note:

-We will continue with the Seerah of the Prophet (saws). However, there is atime change for this class. It will now be Fridays from 6:30-8:30pm. Notethat during part of the semester, both Maghrib and Isha prayers will beduring the window of the class. Therefore, adjustments to the course timingsin order to maximize instructional time may be necessary.

-Arabic class will still be held on Saturdays from 10am-1pm. We will behaving two sections, one for advanced students and one for beginners.Students with some background in Arabic, but who have not been in ourprevious Arabic courses, are welcome to try the advanced section. Pleasereply with an email if you are planning to enroll in the Arabic class so wecan get an idea of the number of students that will be in each section.

-Beginning this semester, the fees for the courses have been reduced to $20per credit hour. Thus, the Seerah class will now cost $40 per person up to 2people in a family with a maximum of $100 per family. Arabic class will cost$60 per person up to 2 people with a maximum of $140 per family. Need basedscholarships are available. In addition, MTI Islamic school teachers andAl-Ilm Weekend school teachers are exempt from tuition charges. However,donations are welcome in order to provide scholarships to other students.

BABYSITTING!!! We still need to hear from the people who would benefit fromthe use of a babysitting service during class time. For those that wantthis, please reply to this email or give me a call and let me know, so we can plan accordingly.
